If the Three Pronged Attack is unknown to you, here is a brief synopsis; The three-pronged attack was a surprise that the British planned during the Revolutionary War. It was planned by General Burgoyne of the British Army, it involved himself, General Leger and General Howe. However General Howe did not arrive in Albany, the reason for this is that he was informed that the Continental Congress was based in Philadelphia, PA. He decided to pursue the delegates across the country to capture and torture them instead of advancing to Albany to crush the Continental Army and defeat George Washington. If he had gone through with the plan to arrive at Albany the war would have been won by King George and his Army.
