This is a picture of the Boston massacre, the Boston massacre is pretty well known. But here are some thing you might not know:
The picture was engraved by Paul Revere.
In the bottom of the engraving there is a little brown dog; in those times - and today - the dog is symbol of companionship and freedom showing that the patriots were fighting with each other, whereas the British were fighting for the King.
In the picture there appears to be a musket barrel protruding from the window of the building behind the British lines, this shows that the British had planned the attack and had a unfair advantage.
It appears that there is a woman in the crowd of Patriots. The reason Paul Revere engraved this was to show that the British were ruthless and would fire upon anyone. This would later be disproved when evidence appeared that both sides had tried to provoke the other and that no side was at fault.

This is amazing! My son needs just this!
